Hello,
I replaced my Linksys modem/router with a Belkin F9J1004v1 modem/router. The HAI Omnipro connection to router now fails.
The router is DHCP enabled with range of IPs 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.100 with default gateway 192.168.1.1, Subnet mask is 255.255.255.0.
Omnipro II runs the static IP 192.168.1.101 on port 4369
Virtual server (on router) is set to forward the IP 192.168.1.101 for port 4369 on TCP and UDP.
The router end of the network cable shows blinking green light whereas the cable end on the Omnipro II shows red light. Tried a different cable and same issue. Same cables when connected to a laptop with a static ip connects without issue on the same port on the router. So, the router ports and cables seem to be ok.
Pinging Omnipro IP address from a laptop gives timeout error, while rarely a one line reply is received from Omnipro IP with 900ms reponse time, but most of the time it is timeout.
Hence the Snaplink does not work and shows timeout. The IP address and encryption code on both ends match.
Could anyone help.
