Irrigation system install with Rain8upb

So as the title states I am getting ready to install a irrigation system that will be controlled by the rain8upb pro. I am writing the programming lines in omnipro II.
 
Here are my questions.
 
How do I integrate the system with a soil moisture sensor and a weather station?
Can I use both?
How will they talk to the omnipro II system?

To start, I'd suggest reviewing these soil moisture sensors  http://www.decagon.com/en/soils/
 
I'm not sure the OP2 could monitor these sensors using the controllers basic scripting.  You may have to use  middleware such as a Raspberry Pi running a Java library such as JOmnilink  https://github.com/digitaldan/jomnilink to read the sensor and submit the readings back to the OP2 controller.
