I am considering a new receiver for a home theater. I am somewhat partial to the Denons and have been looking at the AVR-2113CI specifically. One of the things I would like to do is integrate the receiver into the Nuvo as a source so that I can listen on the overhead speakers in other rooms.
It is my understanding that Denon, and many other brand models in this class, have a limitation on Zone 2 capability where Zone 2 output on the receiver is for analog sources only. One of the commonly suggested workarounds is to run parallel set of analog audio connections from your source devices (cable box, blue-ray, etc..) to the receiver so you can get the source audio on Zone 2 speakers (in this case input to Nuvo). This may be possible for some devices but not all such as in the case of an Apple TV. Wondering if any of you have done something like this and how you were able to overcome this limitation?
Thanks.
