A serious note about WAF.....
The comments we have received, from EHX 2004 in Long Beach, the Consumer Electronics Show, and others that have seen the product, the non-enthusiast side of the family (how's that for PC) particularly likes this product because:
- It doesnt look like a piece of technology on the wall,
- It matches standard light switch wallplates, and
- there is really nothing to learn.
As to how we will package them, we will provide them separately, and with bundles for one controller and 4 LCD's, and one controller and 8 LCD's.
About the touch control--technically there can only be one "touch" at a time for all 8 keypads. Realistically this will only be an issue when you are "dragging" something like a volume slider control. While a drag operation is going on (e.g. dragging), then the other LCD's are locked out only for the duration of the drag. Individual touches on multiple LCD's are actually queued for a small amount of time, so even in near simultaneous use you shouldnt see any problem.
