Are you asking about the size for the mounting screws used to install the dimmer into the wallbox ? If so then it is called a 6-32 screw. This is not a fraction size , it means that it is a #6 screw with 32 threads per inch. This is a standard size. Usually most device screws are 3/4'' in length .If the existing wall box is deeper in the wall because of tile or whatever you can purchase them longer at your local hardware store. You should also look for a tapered phillips head so it does not protrude into the faceplate.
