SnapLink replacement

I'd like to try it out on an old Android (I use an iPhone normally). What's the minimum version of Android OS it needs to work?
The minimum is Android 8.0 (Oreo). So it works on the cheapest no name Chinese tablets that cost $38 up to the latest and greatest.
