Termination of wires for surface contacts

I am nearly ready to start wiring my new house and I have a question on how to prewire for the surface contacts on my windows.   I am planning to use the Tane pill contacts and will be bringing the wire up thru the window sill.    I have seen some local installs done by professional where they have tied a knot in the wire to keep it from getting sucked back into the wall.   It seems that this is pretty hard on the wire.   I will be using foam insulation in the walls, so it is important that the end of the wire be secured before it is foamed.   Any tricks or suggestions on the best way to do this?

Pull the wire through the hole in the window sill, then use painters tape (or masking tape) and secure the wire to the window directly.

Put fiberglass around the slack. Knot in the end of the wire.

If you leave enough slack in the wall (10-12") it's not an issue. You cut off the knot anyways. Also allows you to get rid of any nicks or digs in the jacket from the construction.
