We'll get more info up in the near future. In the meantime, the software is basically designed for the everyday homeowner (although it's a great diagnostics and everyday tool for hobbyists and enthusiasts). It lets you draw a floormap, lay out your devices, command and control your network, set up scenes and groups, and set up timed events (such as turning on a scene at sunset).
It controls up to 231 devices and is Z-Wave Certified.
For a larger home control system, what you want is our ThinkBox technology. If you're looking to "roll your own system", the Z-Wave PC SDK is what you're looking for.
We hope to make the ThinkBox software available for PCs at some point in the future, at which time you'd be able to use it to control multiple systems (Z-Wave, AV, etc.) from touchpanels, media centers, etc.
