I just recently my first OmniTouch.
Out of the box, it is running version 1.01 and is functioning with the system (I can control lights, arm/disarm, control thermostats, etc.) but I have the "chuffing" noise so definitely want to upgrade the firmware/kernel.
When I go in to PC Access > Extended Setup > OmniTouch 7 Screens, I see the OmniTouch with the correct IP address. I click the "Update" button, select the "OmniTouch_7_Version_1.14_99A00-1_2.ot7f" file, and click "Open". I get the dialog asking me to make sure I selected the right firmware file, and then click "Next".
Then I get a screen that simply says:
Firmware File:
OmniTouch_7_Version_1.14_99A00-1_2.ot7f
134217756
3/18/2016 11:16:02
Disconnected. (Duration: 00:00:00)
I've tried this dozens of time. Sometimes the duration is slightly longer than zero (e.g. 00:00:00.0156001). The same thing happens if I select the older "OmniTouch_7_Version_1.12_99A00-1_2.ot7f" file.
I'm running the latest PC Access (3.15.0.803).
Any suggestions?
