This is a joke right? Have you even looked at HS 2.0?gtirebuyer said:I'm sorry but I disagree. I suppose I am no longer bound by the EULA I agreed to in 1999. And as far as an upgrade, which the archived message clearly states are free FOREVER, HS 2.0 is a port of Homeseer 1.x to .net. Seems more like an update to me. It certainly is NOT a completely new version. It's not Homeseer PRO. I'm sure it was a business decision to attract customers by making upgrades free. Now they need to live with it.
Lets see... "port to .NET", that's MS's department correct? Old HS runs on Windows 98, 2.0 can't, again why....MS changed thier software/OS. I think you need to start complaining to Bill over at MS. While your at it, find out why my upgrade to MS Office 2003 can't run on my 486 windows 95 machine.Rupp said:This is a joke right? I'd have to agree with the Ruppster on this one...
HS 2.0 is clearly a new piece of software, and not an update of existing code.
I've always thought of them as Great Lakes Trainer.GLT said:First of all your moniker is awfully close to the meaning of my initials: "George Leroy TirebITer". Did you also go to Moore Science High?
