I am having a little trouble locating the web control on my network and I was wondering if there was anywhere that gave info on what the leds mean. I am seeing a steadily flashing green and a solid red led.
Flashing green and steady Red is normal for both my boards. If connected the yellow LED at the ethernet Jack should be blinking occasioanly. Go into your router and check the IP address range. I could not see my web control board either until I changed my routers IP range to include the webcontrols defualt 192.168.1.15 address. Then I could see the webcontrol and changed its IP and then changed my routers range back to where I had it.
Good thought on changing the routers Adress range. Does anyone know if I change my dhcp range in a time capsule will my static ip assignments be affected?
Not sure what a time capusule is but if those static IP devices fall outside the routers IP range then you won't be able to access them thru the LAN. You might be able to see them but not access them. If you adjust the routers range each device connected to the LAN will need to be restarted or network refreshed to renew there IP addresses.
Just set up your PC's network card with a IP adress of: 192.168.1.1
Plug a network cable into the WebControl and choose a IP adress that's inside the IP range on your ruter.
Save PLC config, and connect your PLC to the router

Tried that before posting, no luck. I might be able to mess with it again tonight. The network card is flashing so I think that its trying to communicate.
Depends on which version firmware. I believe the latest firmware are static IP by default. Some early firmware is DHCP first.
Do you see network socket LED solid green and blink amber? If not, try a different network switch. I read from somewhere, some switch may not sync up the 10BaseT speed.
I changed the ip range on my router and the webcontrol showed up at 192.168.1.15. I set it to have a static ip in the range I have been using, changed my router back and all is good. Thanks for the help everyone.
