how does it look on the ipad? is the resolution simply magnified or does it look just as crisp as on the iphone?

Anthony, like all 2x iphone apps on an ipad, its not as clear. Doesnt bother me though at all. Plus, Im sure there will be an ipad app someday.

I have the app, downloaded it and love it. I am looking to get into it from remote locations. I have a static IP.
For some reason I cant get it to connect????
Any one have some step by step instructions?

You need to configure your router to allow access to port 4369 (TCP and UDP) and forward that port to the internal IP address of your HAI controller. Use your static IP address as the IP address and 4369 for the port number to access the controller. Yes, pretty straightforward. We also use static IP addresses.

As Brian said, in the setting page,

1 - Name - doesn't really matter what you put in here

2 - Address - type in your static IP address here

3 - Port - put 4369

Then just add your 2 encryption codes

You should be set
