Actually, between an Ocelot or an original Leopard 1, pins 2 and 3 are not crossed over, but wired straight: 2 to 2, 3 to 3 and 5 to 5. For a Leopard II, there is no DB9 connector at the Leopard end but you can use the supplied cable (with the board connector at one end) from the back of the Leopard and then consider the DB9 end of that cable as if it was an Ocelot or Leopard 1 for the connections explained above.
