More diagnosis - remove devices from the console bus one at a time.
It's not safe to assume what the culprit is. Have you changed the address on the console?Well, still getting phantom button presses on the same keypad console. So far, disconnecting it has been the only way to stop the issue.
I tried a new one, but still have the issue.
I respliced the connectionsat the console, but still issues.
Is it safe to say that something between this console at the connections at the panel are the culprit? Or is it still possible that another console is causing issues in the one with the phantom button presses?
It’s worth noting that before I disconnected the wireless receiver (which was also connected to a different console wiring), the buttons presses were every 20-30 minutes. Now it’s once or twice in 24 hours.
Yes, so far here is what I have done:It's not safe to assume what the culprit is. Have you changed the address on the console?
@dwalt - this didn't help. Got another set of phantom beeps on the Leviton console #4I just changed the console address of the keypad again. Will report back. But if there is anything else to try, please let me know.
Ok, I just unplugged the touchscreen, which happens to be our primary unitDid you say this is on a shared cable with a touchscreen? If so, disconnect the touchscreen.
When I wire Keypads, I home run all wires to the Omni. That eliminates the splices.
sure, hook the touchscreen back up. I don't have any more suggestions.
I disconnected the receiver a couple months ago. It was just a few sensors. It didn’t resolve the issue. I then left the keypad that kept beeping unplugged for a week while we were away. I plugged it back in when we came back and had no issues at all for 6 weeks. Then suddenly it started again 2 weeks ago only it got worse. 2 keypads started having the problem. The time clock won’t keep time. My temp sensors will intermittently not show the current temp. What devices are you using in the wireless receiver? Are you able to disconnect the wireless receiver and see if the console stops acting up? Where did you read the wireless receiver might cause this? You might be able to find and use the HAI wireless receiver that works with the GE sensors, or maybe replace the HAI wireless receiver with an identical new one, if that is found to be the problem.
