I already have an APC UPS wired into 4 outlets in one of my leviton cans... But one of the A/C plugs (for a netgear) is oriented so that i won't be able to get the cover to the can on as its wide and cord comes out of one of the ends longways across the plug. All four of my devices take 12VDC with pin = positive and all supplies are rated at 1A. But they are not all the same plug size. Anyway i would like to find a 12VDC at ~4A to replace all these.
Looks like some are using the ELK-P412 over in the showcase for needs but given that i already have an APC, that seems like overkill in my application? It also would require an external can which i'd loike to avoid Any suggestions, i find some no-name plug in supplies look like laptop supplies that would work, but i'm a bit worried about reliabilty on those. But in theory something along those lines and the female ends matching my devices wired up to a terminal block would be my preference...
Any suggestions?
thx
