Configuration question

Ok, so I have a PIR in my kitchen, and today I entered through my kitchen door as usual, (entry delay 1) and the alarm went off.... Now thinking back I recently performed the firmware upgrade on the M1, and started to use the new RP. So Im not sure If I messed someting up with the upgrade or not. But I dont think I had it as a cross zone prior to the upgrades but now Im not sure how this was working.... bottom line is it alarms every time I enter the kitchen, without giving me time to get to the keypad.

any ideas as to why this worked before the two upgrades? Or how to fix the immediate problem?

Set the PIR as an Interior Follower. If the door in opened and in enttry delay so will the PIR. If the door is not open it will still be an instant alarm when armed away.

Thanks.... I am on the road in Buffalo, and my wife kept going in and out of the house today! What a pain that was.... on the first time I set NA into test mode until I fixed it... now I can fix that too...

There was some fixes in the interior follower definition. It is probably working right now, but it is not what you want.

Dan,

Im a bit confused at your response... is there a new update coming? or should I choose another definition? or move the sensor?

thanks for all your help

Todd

The latest software upgrade made the zone definition work the way it was supposed to, but you may be used to the way it was working.
