When seting up my OmniPro II in PC Access, there are several places where a *Voice* can be associated with buttons, user settings, etc.  Do these apply ONLY if you have an integrated audio system?  Or can the speaker on my console (i have the console unit with about a 2" speaker and mic inside) be connected back to the OmniPro II somehow?

Thanks.

You need a 2-way voice module, HAI part 10A11-1, to speak messages. These messages will be heard from the console if it has a speaker.

This is right jlehnert! it is use by the phone to let you now what zone or interface you are controlling. whumphrey you can press # on your phone to access the Omni and listen to some message, but then the Omni mostly use the zone or unit number to refer to devices. But if you script a call function then the Omni will use your voice configuration to let you know what zone have been tripped...
here's is an example of script that call me when it is night and someone open my garage door. Sorry for it being in french.
