Outside Temp. Display

Hi, I am trying to figure out if I can display the outside temp. on my HAI RC-80 T-stats. I have an M1g with a temp probe connected to input 16. Does anybody know if the M1 is able to send the info to the t-stats? I have looked and can't seem to figure it out. ;)

Thanks,

Mike

Hi Mike -
I tried for hours to find out how to do this and gave up. Coincedentally my ELK keyapds are right next to my T-stats so I resorted to have the outside temp display on the keypads instead. I know that an HAI system displays outdoor temp on the stat just by defining a sensor as outdoor temperature. It takes care of the rest automatically. At this point I don't think that Elk does this.

Why not use the VK011 (http://store.qkits.com/moreinfo.cfm/VK011) temp board which allows temp output via RS232 (apparently a CQC driver exists for it)? I am not sure if you are using CQC or not, but I certainly like the idea of the VK011 board as it allows you to monitor temps from multiple locations (up to 4 I believe).
