UPB status not showing in Elk Keypad or eKeypad

I recently updated my XSP firmware in hopes of solving an RCS communication issue (still not fixed - separate thread) and now it appears that, while the M1 can send settings to the UPB-based lighting controls, the current status is not accurately reflected back at the control. For example, using eKeypad, I can turn individual lights on/off; however, if a light is aleady on, its status is not reflected in eKeypad as being on. If I toggle the light to on using eKeypad, it remains on; if I then toggle it off, it responds appropriately. Similarly, I have UPB sensors on my garage and gate to indicate their status (open/closed) and that information is also not received properly at the M1. I am able to send commands to the garage/gate to open/close...

I can send a screenshot of the XSP board if desired. The firmware is at the latest current release. I have not updated the UPB since initial installation (about 3 years) but would be surprised if that is the culprit

Has anyone seen this issue in the field?
