Levition-HAI Omnitouch Pro Software Leviton News

The installer code is under miscellaneous settings tab on the left and you will see the installer code on the right.

The installer code is used to adjust set up via the keypad console.

Great news!!! You can also see the configuration using a serial connection to the panel without the keys and IP...

Does the integration of video cameras work with OTP?

yes

Do you know of any place/anyone who would be interested in selling their license of OTP - 1131.

You do not need a purchased license now for OTP per Leviton CS
Hey;
Where would I find a download link of Omnitouch pro since it no longer requires a license to use?
Thanks,
Nick

Nick,

No. You need a valid license to use OTP. When I called Leviton Support about purchasing more licenses support gave me another license.

OTP was written to originally work on Windows CE and works on any Windows OS.

pete_c hoping your still available for HAI consulting. Recently our internet service was changed from coax to fiber. New modem, new ip address, same mesh wifi and router. All communication with the HAI Omni Pro II controller stopped. Of course I updated he ip address on the iphone app (as I have been doing for many years when required) but app says "Error: Unable to Connect". I also tried connecting using Dealer PC Access with the ip address of 192.168.1.100 as I have many times in the past however I cannot get a connection. Obviously this is a very big problem. Without communication nothing will work, not even the Omnitouch 5.7e touch screens. Any thoughts on what I should look for or try??

Welcome to the Cocoontech forum @streetlightpeople. I do what I can on the forum. I have recently moved and still working on the house. I have yet to set up the HAI panel.

Easiest to configure your new modem / router with the old subnet and IP you had configured with the coax then leave all of the HAI devices with the same IPs. That said if using the old router; then IPs did not change. What did change most likely is your Internet IP address.

While on your local lan can you ping the address of the panel or touchscreen?

@dwalt what do you suggest?

New modem?
Fiber doesn't use modems. Are you sure it's not a router and you're now double NAT-ing?
That would be my first guess.
But you're saying you can't even access it locally?
Who did the install? Are you sure they left your router in place? They may have bypassed it.

Try hooking a data cable directly from pc to OmniPro. will need to set ip address on pc. best to use a crossover cable.
what is the state of the two leds by the ethernet connector on the OmniPro?

@pete_c @Frunple
Thank you both for your inputs. The system works again. Here's what happened-
The new "fiber modem" is creating the Default Gateway IP address (I believe it's the DHCP) that my existing router and all other devices on my network are then assigned there IP addresses from. The Default Gateway became 10.11.1..1 therefore the HAI panel (not being DHCP but having a static IP address of 192.168.1.100 did not see the network. I manually assigned the HAI panel IP address to 10.11.1.100 as well as pointing the Omnitouch 5.7e touch screens too and everything came to life. Boy was I happy about this one.

One a similar but different note, has there been any update in the ability to get Automation Studio to customize the Omnitouch 5.7e screen?

Again, can't thank you guys enough for sharing your time and knowledge with me.

I thought about this but figured out issue before attempting (see my post 2/19/2025). But if I were to attempt a serial connection to the OmniPro panel directly, would this be done using Dealer PC Access and setting the IP address in Dealer PC Access to what the OmniPro panel IP address is? And is the crossover cable required (will it work with regular serial cable?) or just "best practice"?

Regarding two leds by ethernet connection on OmniPro II board-one was solid amber the other was flashing amber. This is when the system was not successful in communicating with my network. I have not checked these lights since communication was successful. (I will later). What do they mean? How should they behave?

leds - one should be solid on (the link led). the other should flash when moving data.

serial connection to OmniPro ignores any ip info. You need a serial port on pc or usb to serial adapter as well as HAI serial cable.
Do you have the install manual? It is described in there.

Yeah, so they gave you a router with the service. You may want to get rid of it and just use your own but if it's all working then go with it.
No need for both routers though so you can disconnect the old one also.
By data cable he meant an ethernet cable going straight to the ethernet port on the omni. No need for a crossover anymore, everything is auto-mdi now so even if the omni isn't, the laptop/pc would negotiate.

I do not have the install manual, and I do not have a HAI serial cable. (I am a fairly capable homeowner, not the installer). Do you know of a link to the install manual or haver a pdf you can share and any idea where I can get an HAI serial cable? (potentially for my future use)
